Federico Moyano, Director of ProSustentia, was present at the Carbon Forward 2023 event held in London, from October 11th to 13th.
The conference is one of Europe’s most important events related to carbon markets. It aimed to provide a space to explore and discuss the implications of the looming energy crisis on environmental markets and how stakeholders should position themselves. It also examined the role of emissions trading worldwide and the best way to achieve a true energy transition towards net-zero. During the event, speakers focused on reforms and the expansion of the carbon market, the evolution of the voluntary carbon market, Article 6 and the Paris Agreement, and decarbonization in sectors such as maritime transport, aviation, and heavy industry.
