Federico Moyano

Director

Federico is an agricultural engineer from UBA with an MSc (Resource Management) from the University of Edinburgh, UK. He worked as environmental projects manager at UNDP, and in 2005, he moved to Brazil to work with EcoSecurities in carbon projects implementation. He returned to Argentina in 2008 to establish and manage the subsidiary in the country. In 2011, he founded ProSustentia, a consultancy focused on climate change and the carbon market, and he currently serves as its director. In 2020, he co-founded The Carbon Sink, a virtual platform for emissions measurement and offsetting. Since 2021, he is in charge of carbon strategies area at Aike NBS. In addition to these activities, he has worked as a consultant for organizations such as the FAO, the World Bank, UNDP, CAF, Avina, and others. In the field of education, he was a professor for the bioenergy module in the Master’s in Renewable Energies program at UTN.
