ZENI, engaged in grain brokerage, financial market, industrial forestry, and livestock, located in Argentina, measured its carbon footprint with ProSustentia assistance. Following the GHG Protocol methodology, the family-owned company achieved a net negative carbon balance equal to -23,496 tCO2e for the direct sources and main indirect sources of its activity. The total greenhouse gas emissions reached 44,966 tCO2e during the measurement year, while the capture by their own forest plantations was 68,463 tCO2.
