Bosques del Uruguay, one of the forestry financial trusts developed and operated by Agroempresa Forestal (AF), has achieved validation of its project BDU II Afforestation through high-quality timber in grazing land under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), with the support of ProSustentia.
This means that their project has been approved to seek verification and issuance of carbon credits in the voluntary market, for the carbon removal by their non-native species plantations. Trusting once again in ProSustentia, we are currently working on the project´s verification.
