Last June 29th we had the opportunity to talk about different circular economy strategies that can be implemented in sports institutions and how they contribute to decarbonization. The presentation was made in the framework of the II Argentine Congress on Sustainability in Sports, organized by the Argentine Olympic Committee organized by the Argentine Olympic Committee and attended by sports institutions from all over the country. During the event our specialist in Decarbonization Strategies, Nadia Mazzeo, provided examples and practical and concrete actions that can be implemented by sports institutions to reduce their carbon footprint. Particular emphasis was placed on strategies related to circularity of materials that have an impact on Scope 3 emissions. This can be caused by several factors: 1) reduction in the amount of waste to be managed; 2) minimizing material consumption in general; or 3) switching to more sustainable suppliers with a smaller footprint. If your organization wants to implement decarbonization strategies we can help you. Write to us at info@prosustentia.com
