Parque de los llanos

ProSustentia, along with Ecosecurities and CFB Energy, certified the Parque de los Llanos as the first Gold Standard photovoltaic solar project in Argentina and South America.

Promoted by EFESA, the photovoltaic power plant is located in Chamical, La Rioja province, Argentina, with a total installed capacity of 30 MW. This initiative reduces GHG emissions, mitigating the impact on climate change, while also promoting large-scale energy generation through renewable sources.

The Gold Standard is a highly prestigious international voluntary carbon certification standard with a particular focus on generating socioeconomic benefits.
